On Wednesday, July 10, workers from the organization Builders for Christ (BFC) volunteered at Malta headquarters in the basement of Grace House Church in Groton. Workers sorted and marked clothes and shoes for Malta Teams to distribute to the Homeless and Needy in Groton, New London & Norwich. They also ultra-cleaned the stove and kitchen and gifted us with brand new oven mitts, potholders and towels. Malta volunteers use the stove and the other items mentioned every Wednesday, as we make and cook soup and chili for those we serve, as well as on Mondays and Friday, as teams heat the same to bring out to those in need. Volunteers were from California, North Carolina and South Carolina Churches.
